San Marzano Tomatoes

I can't seem to find the San Marzano Tomatoes where I live, and I don't like the canned tomatoes that are sold here: way too sour. So my question is, how much fresh tomatoes do I need to make this sauce?

Whole chicken

Is it also possible to use (a) whole chicken(s), instead of only the bones? I want to make the total amount of this recipe to freeze the stock, but if I can only use bones I'd have to buy more chickens.

Halving the Recipe

I have watched all the video recipes, except this one.This oneis not in the video collection of Rouxbe. I came to this link with the help of Joe's suggestion here nac.rouxbe.com/recipes/1092/comments.

Hi Dawn,

The Oyster Sauce (Panda brand) that is used here contains MSG right? I thought you didn't use products that contain MSG?
